K-ywy - Eating is believing

I believe people living in the north would have heard of the Penang Street Buffet located in Causeway Point.

Been there, done that, and I won't recommend any buffet lovers there.

JT & I have been eating at close to all of the restaurants in that level, but have never tried the PSB. Every time we're there, there's no queue. We went in to check on the food variety and wasn't so satisfied with the food choices, thus this one has never been our choices.

Oyster lovers, I urge you to think twice before going there. The wait for them to have the oysters served on ice is horrendously long. Every time the oysters are served, you see them gone within a minute. We got so used to the trend so we started waiting and loitering around the area until they came.

Other food like salted egg crab was ok I would say.

Not a lot of pictures because we were rushing to M1 to get recontract.

I always have the fetish of serving and meddling with food for others.
I thought that their you char kuay was so deliciously crispy but sorry, it was hard and tasted extra extraordinary.
You have to taste it to believe it!

Would you believe this is BBQ stingray?
Look at their watery sauce. I tell you, this is totally different from the ones you have at those market place.
IT SUCKS.
We always leave no meat lying around for stingray, but this time round...
=.=

That's the LEGEND oyster I was talking about.
Be prepared to loiter around there for 20 minutes before you get these.
Don't forget there are others standing behind you watching you taking these LIMITED pieces of treasures.
Will you be so thick skin to take more than 5 pieces?
YES! YOU WILL! WHEN YOU HAVE WAITED YOUR ENTIRE LIFE AT THIS STATION.

Needless to say, look at these prawns with their meat still sticking onto their shell.

I felt bad to give them such lousy review, but they really do not meet up to our standard. We spent close to $100 for 2 pax to dine during dinner time. Although it's not that expensive, but I would say it is not even close to a 3 stars rating.

Try it.

Causeway Point, 1 Woodlands Square, #05-11/12, Singapore.
